Our best analogy for logo design, is to compare it to the entrance of a house that's for sale:
If you don't like the appearance, will you bother to go inside and check out the home? The home might be lovely inside, but if you have to climb over weeds or ugly decor to get in ... you might just walk on up the street to find another "house" (aka brand) that appears to be more your style.
The same is true of logo's. Logo's say a lot about your brand, it's tone, it's values, and the type of customers it wants to invite on in.
A good logo also has the power to create trust, loyalty, and inspire consumers to go outside their comfort zones and try something new.
